Alejandro Ybanez

Alejandro Ybanez, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the age of 68. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 5, 1949 to Joe and Guadalupe (Garcia) Ybanez.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Cynthia.

Survivors include his children, Rachel Ybanez, Guadalupe "Pita" Garcia, David Moses Ybanez and Alex and Marisela; grandchildren, Gia, Sara, Belle, Mya and Mia; great grandchild, Aeris, and siblings, Rudy, Richard, Ernesto, Carlos, Joe, Raymond, Fina, Theresa and Mary Ybanez.

Alejandro was the funniest person. He made friends with everyone he met. He loved people and making them laugh. He was the best dad. We will miss you dearly and until we meet again, dad.

We would like to thank the Omaha Va Hospital and Hospice Staff that took care of our father to the very end. They showed so much love to him and all of us. We are grateful for all of people who loved and took care of our dad.

The family will greet family and friends at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alejandro will be honorably laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, on Friday, July, 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
