Alma Segura Medrano

Alma Segura Medrano,64, of Seguin, Texas passed away on December 6,2025 at home after a courageous battle surrounded by her loved ones.

Alma was born in Karnes City, Texas to Augustine and Maria Reyes Segura on January 23,1961. She spent her career doing what she loved most, caring for others as a CNA. She enjoyed serving the Lord, playing volleyball with family, knitting and crocheting, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She relished traveling to watch her children and grandchildren compete and perform at all levels. Family gatherings were always loved and welcomed but nothing was on the same scale as celebrating Mommy and Daddy's birthdays.

Alma is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Alfonso Medrano Sr; Sons - Alfonso Medrano Jr (Crystal), Jason Medrano, Ray Medrano (Angel); Daughters - Crecencia Esparza & Emeralda De Lo Santos; Grandchildren - Manuel De Los Santos (Emily), Aubrey Medrano, Andrea Cervantes (Jose), Linette Esparza (Andy), Daniel Esparza Jr (Valeria), Courtney Medrano, Prince Medrano, Jeffrey De Los Santos, Brandon Medrano, Devon Buehrer, Romeo Medrano, and Eddie Rodriguez Jr(EJ; Great Grandchildren - Jose Cervantes Jr, Santiago Mendoza, Audrey Sanchez, Alijah Sanchez, Devon Buehrer Jr, Baby K Cervantes, Adrian De Los Santos, Aaron De Los Santos, and Manuel De Los Santos Jr; Siblings - Gloria Trevino (Abel), Reynaldo Segura (Angelita, Delia Alvarado (Jose), Sylvia Pena (Richard), Diana Arzola (Miguel), Julia Duenes (Gregorio Jr), and Janet Felan (Carlos); Sister-in-Laws - Sylvia G. Segura (Andres) and Sylvia O. Segura (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Augustine and Maria Segura; Brothers - Andres Segura and David Segura; Nephew - Domingo Segura and Grandson - Jacob Bailey Medrano.

The family will receive condolences at Palmer Mortuary on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4pm-8pm with a prayer service officiated by Pastor Gregorio Duenes from 6pm to 7pm.

Continued visitation will begin at 8:30am on Tuesday December 16, 2025, at Palmer Mortuary. A Funeral service for Alma will begin at 10am officiated by Jose Alvarado and burial will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery, 1620 E. Walnut, Seguin, Tx 78155 with Pastor Gregorio Duenes reciting a short prayer.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alfonso Medrano Jr, Ray Medrano, Jason Medrano, Daniel Esparza Jr, Prince Medrano and Brandon Medrano,

Gathering for fellowship will be held at Westside Baptist Church, 1208 N. Vaughan Ave., Seguin, Tx. following the conclusion of the burial.
