Anita Morales, an amazing and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 60 in her hometown of Seguin, Texas. She was born on March 17, 1963, in Seguin, Anita touched the lives of many with her love and kindness.
Anita was a woman full of life and passion. She had a vibrant personality that brightened any room she entered. Her greatest joy in life came from being a devoted mother to her three children: Rita Mendoza, Veronica Mendoza, and Juvencio Mendoza Jr. Anita's love for her children knew no bounds and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their well-being.
Throughout the years, Anita found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She had an interest in watching novelas and would often get lost in their captivating storylines. Her love for tejano music added a rhythm to her days that reflected the vibrancy of her spirit.
Anita's warm presence extended beyond her immediate family. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren: Luis T. Sanchez, Juvencio E.S. Mendoza III, and Angelique V. Sanchez. They were the light of her life and brought immense happiness to her heart.
In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, Anita was also a beloved sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo Morales and Maria Elisa (Montoya) Morales; her spouse, Juvencio Mendoza Sr.; her sister, Elida Guillen; and her brother Albert Morales.
Anita is survived by a large and loving family who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Among them are siblings Sara Martinez, Genoveva Puente, Domingo Morales, Elvira Hernandez, Alfredo Morales, Margarita Hernandez, Emilia Ramon, Emilio Morales, Manuel Morales and Celia Garcia.
Anita's impact on those around her was immeasurable. Her infectious laughter and genuine care for others will forever be remembered. She had a remarkable ability to bring comfort and compassion to those in need, offering a listening ear and sage advice.
As we say our final goodbyes to Anita, let us remember the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She showed us the importance of love, family, and cherishing every moment. She was a resilient and strong woman and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, reminding us to embrace life with joy and kindness.
Visitation will be on September 6, 2023 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Rosary will be at 10 am and Mass will follow at 10:30 am . All services will conclude that morning.
May Anita Morales rest in eternal peace, knowing that her life was a gift to each and every one of us. She will be deeply missed but forever treasured.
