Antonia Torres

Antonia Contreras Torres, of Seguin, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the age of 73. She was born in Geronimo, Texas on January 11, 1941 to Pedro Contreras and Amelia Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo G. Torres, son Ramiro Torres, parents and brothers, Juan, Rosario, Gregorio and Inez Contreras.

Survivors include her children, Martina T. Zavala and husband Manuel, Eva Sosa and Gabriel Ortiz, Jesse Patrick Torres and wife Becky, Elisa Sanchez and husband Steven, and Marie Rodriguez and husband Abel 14 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren, sisters, Maria Magallanes and Bertha Ramirez and husband Ignacio and brother Pedro Contreras Jr., numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime companion Alex Sandoval III.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 5:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10:00 a. m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.

Assisting as Pall Bearers will be Moses Sanchez, Paul Ybarra, Anthony Torres, Steven Sanchez Jr., Avel Rodriguez Jr., and Christopher Flores.
