Arthur Ray Henderson

Arthur Ray Henderson, born May 2, 1958, to Issac and Neris Henderson. He was the baby out of ten children. 

Arthur graduated from Seguin High School, a milestone that remained part of the foundation of his life. He went on to serve in a long career with the TxDot, from which he later retired. His favorite hobbies were restoring old cars and riding his Harley until he became ill. Arthur was very loving, giving, caring, hardworking, perfectionist, and trusting. 

He is survived by his siblings, J.C. Henderson (Regina), Linda Henderson, Brenda Miller, and Lessie Henderson. He is also lovingly remembered by Sylvia, his longtime girlfriend, whose place in his life was a cherished one. Together, those who remain carry forward the memory of Arthur with affection, gratitude, and the bond of shared years.

Arthur was preceded in death by both parents, and siblings Mozelle, Delores, Evelyn, Willie Charles, and Doris. He mourned his two children Arthur Rae and Alexa Rae.

Arthur Ray Henderson will be remembered for the life he lived, the people he loved, and the unmistakable passions that made him who he was. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to all who hold him close in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a public viewing on September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations, 1116 N Austin St, Seguin, TX 78155. A funeral service will follow starting at 2:00 p.m.
