Ava brought light, laughter, and love to those around her, and her memory will be cherished deeply by all who knew her.
Ava Lanette Luna passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 10. Born on September 10, 2016, Ava brought light, laughter, and love to those around her, and her memory will be cherished deeply by all who knew her.
Ava was an honor roll student whose bright mind was matched by her joyful spirit. She loved drawing anime characters and found happiness in singing, dancing, and journaling. She delighted in sharing the dancing routines she made up with her daddy, and her voice messages filled with singing and piano playing will remain treasured reminders of her sweet and creative heart. Ava liked to play keyboard with her Mom and show her what she learned. She loved to cook different kinds of soups and also loved to cuddle with her Mom.
She was a social butterfly who made friends easily and brought warmth wherever she went. Ava loved to tease her parents and siblings, filling everyday moments with laughter and affection. Her heart was huge, and she loved love; that gentle, open-hearted way of caring for others was one of the many beautiful gifts she gave to her family and friends.
Ava is survived by her father, Andrew Luna, and her mother, Erica Moreno; her brother, Christian Luna; and her sisters, Abigail Luna Audrey Luna and Andie Luna. She is also lovingly remembered by her Grandmothers, Dora Ibarra and Rosalina Farias, Sandra Moreno Kniskern; her Grandfather, Richard Luna, Jr.; her Aunt, Janel Palermo, and Cousin, Ariana Palermo; her Uncles, Ernest Luna, Phillip Luna, Rene Moreno, and Johnny Moreno; and her Aunts, Rosemary Gonzales, Ester Wright, Veronica Luna and Felicita Luna Enriquez. Cousins and friends. Each of them carries forward the love of Ava’s life and the joy of her memory.
She delighted in sharing the dancing routines she made up with her daddy.
A visitation for Ava Lanette Luna will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00a.m. followed by burial at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
