Carol Schuhart

March 24, 1936 — March 27, 2017

Carol Elizabeth Schuhart, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the age of 81. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 24, 1936 to Ashton and Betty Lloyd.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Carroll Lloyd, of New Hampshire.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Alton "Bud" Schuhart, daughters, Margo L. King of Heath, OH, and Marcia S. Holzbach of Yorktown, VA; stepsons, Jeff Schuhart (Rita) of Nashport, OH, and Ken Schuhart (Terry) of Newark, OH; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Along with her love of family, sewing and quilting, Carol, was heavily involved in genealogy and was a member of: the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Plantagenet Society, the National Society of Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, the National Society of Colonial Dames, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the National Society of the United States Daughters of 1812 and the National Society of the Magna Charta Dames.

Carol was a bank teller and worked at the Nolte National Bank in Seguin and she retired from the Bank of America at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. An Inurnment will be held at a later time at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org, 1.800.272.3900, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17
