Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019, at the age of 84. She was born in Seguin, Texas on December 21, 1934 to Martin and Rafaela Luna.
She is preceded by her parents and her daughter, Inez Ruiz.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Raymundo Herrera; sons, Raymond Herrera Jr., Michael Herrera, and Adrian Herrera; daughters, Estella Avitua and Abel, Gloria Villarreal and Juan, Beatrice Tristan; 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Eva Chavez and Epimenio, Estella Casas, Elisa Briseno and Gilbert, Mary Louise Ludt, Gracie Flores and Joe.
Carolina was a Guadalupanas and Cursillistas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for numerous years and belonged to the Quilters Circle as well. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a wonderful wit about her.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. burial following at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
