Charles Ernest Rials, born in Crescent City Florida, aged 85, passed away on the morning of June 17, 2024, at his home in New Braunfels, Texas. Charles was a decorated United States Army Combat veteran , who dedicated 20 years of distinguished service to his country. Charles was a Purple Heart and Bronze Star award recipient Both awards presented in recognition of heroic actions taken by him during combat operations against hostile forces in the Republic of Vietnam. 

Charles was an avid enthusiast of fishing, car restoration, motor car racing, and playing cards. These hobbies brought him immense joy and satisfaction. 

He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Canup, brother Alan Rials, sons, Edward, Mike, and Cecil Rials; daughters, Kimberly Martin and Susan Kuster; grandchildren, Lesley Napper, Lindsey Rials, Jeremy Rials, Melissa Rials, Lisa Rials, Rachael Rials, Natalie Rials Losoya, Parker Rials, Justin Baldwin, Brittany Baldwin, Samantha Waliguru and Sean Prall; along with 21 great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Rials, and grandchild, Sabrina Prall.

A graveside burial service is scheduled for June 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetary in Seguin, Texas, where his family will gather to honor his memory and legacy.
