He is survived by Denise Farias, son Jason Hagood, stepchildren Layne Schichtel, Nicolas Schichtel, and Bria Buado, grandchildren Nicholas Hagood, Aislinn Hagood, Justin Sims and Gavin Hagood, sisters Wanda Smith and husband Allen, Brenda Harmon and husband Mark, Carrie Hunter and husband Mark, brothers James Daniel Hagood and Gary Oran Hagood and wife Sheila.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Gladys Hagood Sr. and a brother Sidney Ray Hagood Jr.
