Concepcion Ramirez Chavez

Concepcion Ramirez Chavez of Seguin passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born to Benigno and Roque Ramirez on March 10, 1928.

Conchie possessed a green thumb and found solace in gardening; she had a special connection with her roses. She was a devoted Catholic and lifelong parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Over the past 45 years she enjoyed creating memories with her two nieces, Priscilla and Yvette, along with their families. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Santiago “Jimmy” Chavez; son, Jimmy Chavez; parents; sisters, Maria Martinez, and Trini Acosta.

Left to cherish her memory include sisters, Guadalupe Ramirez, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Luci Cunningham, Josie Garza (Juan); brother, Jose Ramirez; brother-in-law Ignacio Acosta as well as numerous nieces and nephews; honorary great nieces and nephews, Karina, Marivette, Alessandra, and Mateo.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with Deacon Nick Carrillo leading the rosary. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. and the burial will conclude at San Geronimo Cemetery.
