Cristobal Perez, a great man with an even greater spirit, who touched many hearts throughout his journey in life. Embraced by the arms of his beloved late wife Alicia Perez on March 6, 2026. He was surrounded by a small circle of people who never left his side. Born on April 16, 1934, in Gillett, TX.. Cristobal wasn’t just a son or a brother he was a wonderful husband, a fantastic father, an amazing grandfather and an extraordinary great grandfather. Life for Cristobal wasn’t a simple journey but anyone who met him would have never guessed that. He carried himself with a sweet smile and a tremendous heart who treated everyone equally.

He worked Civil Service for Randolph Air Force Base and retired at the age of 55. He then became the man with the world’s greenest thumb as well as a “certified” babysitter and taxi driver for the grandkids as well as the great grandkids and friends of theirs. He loved it very much, he made sure everyone knew just how much joy it brought him. He showed us all what unconditional love felt like, he also taught us how to smile through the hard times. He never let other peoples actions or words affect his outlook on life. He was the kind of man you’d aspire to be.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, March 13, 2026 starting at 9am. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 9:30am and Mass will be offered at 10am. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery where Cristobal will be laid to rest with his wife.
