David M. Flores, of Seguin, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 61. He was born in Guadalupe County, Texas on July 28, 1955 to Daniel and Adelina (Montanez) Flores.
David graduated from Seguin High School in 1974. During the 70's, he worked at HEB, American National Insurance Company and SMI. And in the 80's, he began his career with the City of Seguin, as a Meter Maid, then working as Patrol, later working as an assistant Warrant Officer (he was eventually promoted to Warrant Officer), he retired in 2006.
His hobbies were, umpiring local baseball games, traveling to Kinder and Las Vegas, watching his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros, and barbecuing with his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Padron Flores, children, Criselda Chavez and husband Mark, Christoper Flores and girlfriend Kayla; grandchildren, Marisa, Myla and Marcus; his father, Daniel Flores, Sr., brothers, Samuel, Daniel Jr., and Edward Flores and wife Barbara; as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, brother and sister's in laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., Interment will follow at the San Juan Cemetery, in Geronimo, Texas.
