Domingo Castillo

Domingo Castillo, of Seguin, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born in Guadalupe County, Texas on June 15, 1952 to Brigida (Sanchez) and Manuel Castillo.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ben Castillo, Janie Hernandez and Manuel Castillo.

Survivors include his wife, Oli Castillo, children: Alex Castillo and wife Tracy, Edward Castillo, Mark Castillo and wife Alyssa, Crystal Castillo, Philip Franklin and Sonya Castillo and fiancé, Garik Uhr; grandchildren: Alexis, Gabriel, Gabriella, Johnathan, Alianna, Michael and Edward; great grandchildren: Laniyah, Natalie, Isaiah, Rosie and Lorenzo; siblings: Mary Alvarez, Eustoquio Castillo, Juan Castillo, Philip Castillo and Concepcion Najera; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Domingo was a hardworking man and worked in Seguin and Luling as a porter for Chevrolet for 25 years. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and was known for being very hospitable. He loved all children, even those that weren't his (nieces, nephews and friends) and lovingly gave nicknames to all of them. He was a loyal, loving and dependable father, who was always available, not matter the time of day. He was a great example of a father, never letting his children down. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Mass on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. The Burial will follow at the Santo Tomas Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be: Alex Herrera, Sammy Guerrero, Gabriel Castillo, Brandon Perez, Robert Ramos, Jimmy Herrera, Robbie Ramos and Gregory Sistos.
