Domingo Saenz

Domingo Saenz, Sr., of Seguin, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 79. He was born on May 22, 1938 to Felix and Frances Saenz.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Eulogio Saenz, Jose "Coy" Saenz, Felix Saenz Jr and Mary L. Gonzales.

Survivors include his children, Domingo Saenz Jr., Frank Saenz, Marcos Saenz, Frances Saenz , Dolores Hughes and Maria Melchor; 13 Grandchildren, many great grandchildren as well as siblings, Juan Saenz and wife Josie, Eusbio Saenz and wife Angelina, Jesse Saenz and wife Mary and Margaret Flores and husband George.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Domingo Saenz Jr, Frank Saenz, Marcos, Saenz, Rudy Avila, Robert Avila and Danny Carvajal.

He was an avid Fisherman who always enjoyed a night of good fishing. He enjoyed entertaining the family with Friday night fish fries, Easter egg hunts and especially fishing trips to Port Lavaca. He will be missed greatly by those who knew him and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with the Deacon Nick Carrillo to recite the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 9:00 a. m. A Burial will follow at the San Geronimo Cemetery with a Reception to follow at the Geronimo Community Center.
