Dorothy was an avid fisherman and spent many hours on the banks of the rivers, lakes and gravel pits where ever she lived. She loved flowers, butterflies and birds of all kinds and tried to impart her wisdom and knowledge to anyone who would listen. She enjoyed buying the saddest plants at the store just so she could restore them to beauty! Despite her physical disabilities she was usually unstoppable at whatever she put her mind to including roller skating, dancing, hiking or climbing to reach the best fishing hole. She also was a talented baker and cook, who enjoyed feeding others (If you go away hungry, it's your own fault!) She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, jewelry, many creative crafts and talking with friends.
