Elisa Espinoza

Elisa G. Espinoza, of Seguin, passed on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the age of 99. She was born in Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico on September 13, 1919 to Enrique and Antonia Gutierrez.
Elisa is preceded by her parents; husband, Armando R. Espinoza Sr.; sons, Hector and Armando Espinoza Jr.
She is survived by her son, Joe H. Espinoza and Vira; daughters, Esperanza (Hope) Leal and Richard, Erie Martinez, Etelvina (Nina) Nieto and Robert, Estela G. Espinoza, Liz Arambula and life partner, Cecil Valdez; brothers, Enrique Gutierrez and Jesus David Gutierrez; sister, Irene Gutierrez; 19 grandchildren, 38 great- grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Elisa was a strong and loving woman who was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and especially loved to cook. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the burial at San Geronimo Cemetery.
