Elizabeth Burt

Elizabeth Jo Burt of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the age of 66. Jo was born on December 9, 1950 at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba, to Joseph and Mary Rita Schneider. As a small child, Jo and her family moved to California, where her father was stationed and she spent her formative years there. After marrying Art Burt, she moved to Texas where they started their own family.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Jo is survived by her husband, Arthur Burt; daughter, Rebecca Burt; son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Connie Burt; granddaughters, Emily and Abigail Burt; and sisters, Mary-Lou Pankoke, Barbara Hatcher, Dolores Moe.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W. Krezdorn, Seguin, TX 78155) on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. (services will conclude at the church).
