November 5, 1942 — January 10, 2015
Elizabeth Valerio Ybarra, of Schertz, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the age of 72. She was born in Nixon, Texas on November 5, 1942 to Santiago Valerio and Ramona Jimenez.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Julian R. Ybarra; son, Jimmy Ybarra; and sister, Nancy.
Survivors include her children, Rebecca Fisher, Gracie Carriaga, Viviano Ybarra and wife Maria, Romana Smith and husband David, and stepson Lalo Castillo; grandchildren, John A. Ybarra, Jennifer C. Ybarra, April L. Ybarra, Joshua Carriaga, Lori Beal and husband Paul, Paul Ybarra, Cody Castillo and wife Misty; great grandchildren, Tammy L. Ybarra, Chris N. Mason, Alex Castro, Destiny Castro, Faith Castro, Cody Castro Jr.; sister, Mary Cass; brother Savas Valerio and wife, Maria; and long time companion, Jose Castillo.
A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 9:00 a. m. Interment will follow at Valerio's Cemetery in Nixon-Smiley.
