Ellen Gautreaux

Ellen "Renee" Gautreaux, of San Antonio, passed away on Tuesday, January 2017 in San Antonio, Texas at Christus Sister Mary Hospice Center, at the age of 61. She was born on February 24, 1955, in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee to Ira Lee Hicks and Mildred Kathleen Stallings. She was recently retired, as a Corrections Officer, for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, two sons, Paul Estep and Russel "little Rusty" Gautreaux and daughter Rolanda Reagan.

Renee is survived by her sons, Lee Estep, and James Leggitt and his wife Sheila; daughter, Kathy Estep; grandchildren, Casandra and Ripley Estep, James and Tiffany Leggitt, and Jennifer, Justin and Jaylon Fitzgerald; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
