Estella Hernandez

April 20, 1959 — May 25, 2023

Estella Hernandez gained her angel wings on May 25, 2023 at the age of 64. She was born to Victoriano and Adela (Guerrero) Hernandez on April 20, 1959 in Seguin, Texas.

Estella lived life to the fullest, she loved life and always had a smile on her face. In the early 70s, Estella won her title as the Dies y Seis de Septiembre Queen at the Hidalgo Hall in Seguin. Later in life she worked in what is formerly known as Holly Farms. She also worked for 25 years as a well known bartender at Augie’s where she made many friends and memories. She finished her working years as a custodian at Patlan Elementary for 11 years, where many of the students loved her. Estella never met a stranger and loved being with family and friends. She had a heart of gold and a pure soul. She played in an All Women’s Pool League, which she was extremely proud of. She enjoyed going camping, barbecuing, watching her favorite TV show, “Two Broke Girls”, but she especially loved watching the Dallas Cowboys play. If she was watching the football game, you better believe that she DID NOT like to be disturbed. Estella truly made an impact on those who knew her and her presence will be deeply missed.

Estella Hernandez is preceded in death by her mother, Adela (Guerrero) Hernandez, brothers, Victor Hernandez II and Francisco “Big Frankie” Hernandez Sr., and niece, Vonette Hernandez.

Left to cherish her memory is father, Victoriano Hernandez Sr., sister, Elsa Paredes and husband George, brother, Roger Hernandez and wife Cecile, cousin/sister, Nancy Davila, Lexi Villarreal and Josh Castillo who she saw as her children, and her fur baby, Lily. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
