Evelyn York

Evelyn Ann Green York, of Luling, went Home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born on October 13, 1933 in Laurel, Kentucky to Minnie Mae (Powell) and William Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas York, 4 grandchildren, her parents and 4 brothers.

Survivors include her children, Kaabee Crowder (Helen), Della Hemsath (Tom), James Crowder, Robert Crowder, Sr., Donald Crowder (Rosalie) and Arthur Crowder; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Charles and adopted daughter, Sharon; as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with an Interment to follow at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
