Fidel Flores, Jr. age 71, passed unexpectedly on October 14, 2026. Born on September 24, 1955, in San Antonio, Tx to Fidel and Frances Flores. He was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, class of 1974. He proceeded to work with numerous A/C companies as a duct work technician. He loved sports and could always be found cheering for his favorite teams. He retired in Seguin, but as active and full of life as he was, he applied and was hired by Seguin ISD. He enjoyed being a bus monitor and was known to the school kids as Mr. Flowers.

To his sister, he was more than a brother, he was a friend, a protector and always ready to help. He enjoyed surprising everyone and anyone with coffee, tacos, or lunch. His kindness will be remembered by many.

Fidel is preceded in death by parents Fidel and Frances, his brother Edward, and brother-in-law Guillermo Esquivel.

He is survived by his sister Maria Esquivel, sister-in-law Lillie Flores, nieces Monica, Ashley, nephews Adam, Chris, and numerous friends who will miss him.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2pm, at Plamer Mortuary and Cremations. Followed by rosary at 3pm.
