Frances Vasquez

Frances Marines Vasquez was born on February 26, 1936 in Goldthwait, Texas to Jose and Dolores Marines.

Frances raised five children; Gloria Smith (Moses III), Santiago Vasquez, Grace Cooper (Pat), Raul Vasquez, Jr. (Gloria), and Vangie Hoover. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister Inez Mendoza, brother Margarito Marines, sister Josefina Bilano and sister Concepcion Marines.

Frances was a founding member of Iglesia Bautista El Buen Pastor in Seguin, Texas. For many years, she served faithfully by supporting missionary work, cooking countless meals, and sending youth to summer church camp.

From Frances, her family was blessed to learn many valuable lessons; to always put God first, to give generously of time and money, and to never pass up a garage sale or an old western.

She will be remembered as a hard -working, God-fearing woman who lived a simple life, loved Jesus, her family, plants and chocolate.

Our family knows that she is resting in the arms of her heavenly Father.
