George Smith Sr.

George E. Smith Sr., of Seguin, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born to Joe B. Smith and Frances Coker.

He was a military veteran in which he served in the Korean War. Always a hard worker, George held various careers as school teacher, constable and preacher. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He enjoyed tending to his horses and cattle.
George is survived by his wife Gertrude Smith, children, George Smith Jr., Janet Graf and Sandy Turney, 8 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.

He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 7:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a. m. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery.
