Gilbert Martinez, Sr.

Gilbert Perez Martinez Sr., of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 78.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Pauline Martinez, parents, Guadalupe Perez Reyna and Gavino Martinez, brother Raul Reyna and son-in-law Daniel H. Bailey.
Survivors include his children, Rosemarie Martinez, Patricia Bailey, Gilbert Martinez Jr., Michael Martinez Sr., and Linda Sue Martinez; grandchildren, John Leos, Shaun Valdez, Vanessa Valdez, Sarah Lozano, Michael Martinez Jr., Crystal Gallegos, Nicholas Martinez, Elias Martinez, Ernie Martinez, Christy Martinez and Victoria Martinez; as well as 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:30 p. m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
