Gilberto Sanchez Jr.

Gilberto Sanchez, Jr., of Seguin, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 46. He was born in Seguin, Texas to Sylvia (Robles) Garcia and Gilberto Sanchez, Sr.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Alberto Robles, paternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Sinovio Sanchez, and in-laws, Julia (Magana) and Calistro Moreno, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Leticia (Moreno) Sanchez, children, Sabrina and Justin Sanchez, and Jessica Bloch; grandchildren, Merayh, Raymond and Rianna Pelcastre and Noey Leblanc; father, mother, Sylvia Garcia and stepfather Ernesto, siblings in-law, Barbara Sanchez and Alejandro Rubalcava, Deborah Rodriguez and husband Christian, Jennifer Sanchez and Henry Rodriguez, Lenor Sanchez, Santos Sanchez, Jr, and wife Diane, Mike Sanchez, and Calistro Moreno and wife April; brother, Gabriel Sanchez and wife Virginia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Gilberto was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was never afraid to show his love and adoration for his wife. He was known for having a good heart, being out going and helping others. Listening to music (Oldies and Tejano), making jokes and always having a smile on his face, are some of the things he will be remembered for.

He will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Deacon Nick Carrillo to recite the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. an Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
