Henry Saldaña Sr., 62, of Seguin, TX, went to be with our Lord on April 9, 2025. Henry was born on December 19, 1962 in Seguin, TX to Eugene and Lina Saldaña.
Henry was a fun-loving, easygoing man who filled every room with laughter and warmth. Known for his quick wit and love for a good joke, Henry had a heart as big as his smile. He passed away leaving behind a legacy of kindness, joy, and simple pleasures that touched everyone who knew him.
A true “Domino King,” Henry ruled the table with skill and charm. When he wasn’t winning games, he was working with his hands—his passion for carpentry carried him through much of his life. Most recently, he was a valued member of the overnight maintenance team at Walmart, where he built friendships as strong as the structures he once crafted.
Henry had a love for the outdoors and could often be found sitting outside, enjoying music, fresh air, and the quiet peace of nature. He cherished the little things: a good cookout, a great western show, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Above all, Henry was a man of heart. He got along with everyone, lived simply, laughed often, and loved deeply. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing he has a special seat in Heaven, watching over all who loved him. We will carry his memory with us—his laughter, his stories, and the joy he brought to our lives.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lina Saldaña, and his brother, Juan Saldaña Sr. He is survived by his son, Henry "Hank" Saldaña (Delia Quintana), daughter, Stephanie Saldaña, brothers, Roy Saldaña (Liz Saldaña) and Gene Saldaña (Rose Saldaña), sister, Sylvia Saldaña, and 9 beautiful grandchildren, Daisy Saldaña, Tristan Saldaña, Marissa Saldaña, Henry Saldaña III, Nicholas Martinez Jr., Jaleigh Salaz, Nathaniel Saldaña, Yesenia Cuevas, and Adelynn Cuevas, along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.
