Hunter Cayden Cowey, a precious soul who touched the lives of all who knew him, passed away on August 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at home in Seguin, Texas at the age of 6. Born on November 2, 2016, in Seguin, Hunter brought immense joy to his family and friends throughout his all-too-brief time on earth.
Hunter will always be remembered for his unwavering resilience and remarkable strength. No challenge was too great for him to face with determination and a fighting spirit for the Lord upheld him with his right hand of righteousness. Hunter loved praying with his nana and he loved Jesus. Despite any obstacles that came his way, Hunter always found the strength to persevere, inspiring those around him.
In addition to his remarkable resilience, Hunter possessed a radiant personality that left an undeniable mark on everyone he encountered. An obedient spirit, he approached life with a sweetness and love that was simply unmatched. His infectious joy and beautiful smile were a constant source of happiness for all who had the privilege of knowing him. Hunter's laughter filled every room he entered and uplifted the hearts of those fortunate enough to share in his presence.
Outside of the joy he brought to others' lives, Hunter held a special fondness for Dodge Chargers. His love for these automobiles was truly a testament to his unique personality and interests.
Hunter was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Fidel C. Molina Jr.
Hunter's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many who loved him dearly. He is survived by his mother, Casey Cowey; father, Kendell King; grandmother, Erika Beck and papa, Danny A Beck; cousins, Cody R. Kent, Zander Kent, Alivia Rose, Jaxon Rose, Serenity Fleming, Lane Rose, Bentley Smith, Aubrey Kent as well as many other cousins; aunt, Aspen Rose; uncle, Cody M. Kent; great-aunts, Kimberly Molina, Mindy Molina, Audrey See; great-uncles Phillip Molina Jr., Scotty Molina, Ryan Molina, Duane Molina, Joshua Molina and great-grandmother, Mary Molina.
A Visitation will be held to honor and remember the beautiful life of Hunter Cayden Cowey. The first visitation will take place on August 11, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palmer Mortuary. Continued visitation will be held on August 12, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location.
Following the visitations, a funeral service will commence at Palmer Mortuary on August 12, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM to celebrate Hunter's remarkable life. After the service, a touching interment ceremony will take place at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin, Texas.
Hunter was truly an extraordinary boy who graced this world with his presence. While his untimely departure has left a void that can never be filled, his memory will forever be cherished and celebrated by those who had the privilege of knowing him. In honoring Hunter's spirit of resilience and strength, may we always carry his sweet smile in our hearts as a reminder of the power of love and joy amidst life's challenges.
