Inez Loera, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, in Seguin, Texas, at the age of 92. Born on January 21, 1933, in Caldwell County, Texas, Inez's journey through life was marked by her endless love for her family and her numerous talents that brought joy to everyone around her.
Inez was a woman of remarkable skill and creativity, known for her incredible talent as a seamstress. Her passion for crocheting and sewing was evident in the beautiful pieces she created, each stitch infused with her love and care. She also had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly her garden, where she lovingly tended to vibrant pink roses and cheerful yellow bells. Inez found beauty in these blooms, just as she found beauty in the relationships she nurtured throughout her life.
Beyond her hobbies, Inez was devoted to caring for her beloved cats, showing her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart. Her home was a sanctuary for both her family and her furry friends, a place where love was always abundant. As a mother, she exhibited boundless love and patience, becoming both a guiding light and a nurturing support for her children.
Inez is survived by her adoring children: Gloria Zamudio, Erlinda Cavazos, Pete Loera, Adrian Natal and her partner Cisco Gonsales, Joe Loera, Lidia Loera, Carlos Loera, Ricardo Loera, Adela Loera, and Hector Loera. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were fortunate enough to experience her warmth and guidance. Her legacy will continue to resonate within them, a reflection of her loving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Constantino and Mona Puente; her beloved husband, Herlindo Loera; and her siblings, Constantino Puente, Sostenes Puente, Felimon Sr. Puente, and Agripina Puente. Inez’s absence leaves an indelible void, yet her love will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her.
As we remember Inez, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life full of creativity, compassion, and unwavering love. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever bloom in the memories she leaves behind.
