Jesus Leos Sr.

Jesus "Jesse" S. Leos, Sr., of Seguin, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born in Seguin, TX on June 30, 1949 to Cayetano and Santos (Sanchez) Leos.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Victoria, children, Isabel Hernandez, GySgt. (USMC Retired) Jesus S. Leos, Jr., and Gabriel Leos; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, as well as siblings, Juan Leos and wife Connie, Albert Leos and Paula Delgado.

Jesus retired from SMI/CMC after working there for 41 1/2 years. He was a very active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and served as a Guadalupano, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and Santo Nombre member. He also was involved in the community by volunteering at the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, serving as a LULAC 682 council member and worked at the Bingo halls for the Knights of Columbus and the Mc Queeney Lions. Jesse enjoyed Western Movies and was a huge John Wayne fan. When he could, he also loved to travel and dance. Jesus will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved him.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W. Krezdorn Street, Seguin, TX 78155; 830.379.4338) on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass and will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park (2951 S State Highway 46, New Braunfels, TX 78130, 830.609.4906).
