Joe Castillo

On December 8, 2007 Our Lord in Heaven called on one of his children for assistance, and as always, Jose Joe Castilllo stepped up to answer that call.

Joe S. Castillo served the City of Seguin for over 18 years. First as a FirefighterParamedic and then as a Police Officer.

He will be greatly missed by all those that called on him for advice. He was a strong source of comfort and knowledge, both personal and professional. He gave of himself to the community in many capacities.

Joe is survived by his mother Elida Castillo, four sisters Maria, Irene, Janie and Angie and one brother Rene all of Seguin, TX; also one step-son Bryan Arce and step-grandson Julian. He also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jose A. Castillo.

He will be greatly missed by his family as well as many people who were fortunate enough to call him friend.

Public visitation will begin at 5pm on Tuesday, December 11 at Palmer Mortuary in Seguin, TX.

Rosary recital will be at Palmer Mortuary at 7:30 pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Thursday, December 13 at 1 pm with Burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
