John Baker

John P. Baker, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the age of 71.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lettie Baker and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children, John Baker, Jr., and wife Jenny, Brian Baker and wife Monae, Clinton Baker and wife Jessica, and Stephanie Colston and husband Brian; and 12 grandchildren.

John was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also was a Veteran that served our county in the United States Army. He appreciated the outdoors and being at the river made him happy. County Western music was always on his playlist, he had a sweet tooth and enjoyed southern foods, especially biscuits and gravy. John will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved him.

The family will receive the public at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, January 6, 2017 from 1:00 p. m. to 5:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. (Services will conclude in the chapel).
