Jose Briseno

Jose Briseño Sr., a lifelong resident of Seguin, passed away August 10, 2015, at 71 years old.

Joe was a faithful member of the Christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where he served as an elder since 1972. He dedicated his life to serve Jehovah God and was baptized on December 21, 1968.

He will be remembered as a kind, happy and loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend. He was always ready to share an uplifting thought from the Bible and a hug. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Angelita and Hilario Briseño Sr.; brothers Hilario Briseño Jr. and Roberto Briseño; cousin Tony Ortega.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Placida; 3 children, Charlene Briseño Rodriguez and husband Samuel, Jose Briseño Jr and wife Angelina, Isaias Briseño and wife Stayce; 9 grandchildren, Samantha Palacios and husband Jordan, Julian Rodriguez, Gabriella Salas and husband Daniel, Esai Briseño, Serena McIntosh, Marley Briseño, Kaitlyn Pigeon, Cora Pigeon, Inde Joseph Briseño; great grandson Damian Palacios; sister Mary Hernandez; brothers Alfredo Briseño Sr. and Jimmy Briseño; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Geronimo Civic Center, 280 Navarro Dr., Geronimo, Texas, 78115
