Jose Charles
August 17, 1920 — May 10, 2008
Mr. Jose T. Charles went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the age of 87.
He was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila to Cosme and Marina de
la Cruz Charles. Mr. Charles retired from M.T. S. in 2000.
Jose married Amparo Castillon in 1941 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. She preceeded him in death in 1985 as well as their son Cosme in 2005.
He is survived by his children Marina Charles Castillon of Eagle Pass; Amparo Charles Valdez of Lubbock; Isabel Jimenez of San Antonio and Roland Charles of Kingsbury, Texas. He is also survived by his sisters Concepcion Charles de Luna of Muzquis and Francisca Charles de Garza of Monclova; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
