Jose Flores

Jose Francisco Flores, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the age of 67. He was born on August 27, 1950 in Seguin, Texas to Jose H. and Esther (Torres) Flores.

He is preceded in death by his son, Javier Flores, parents, brother, Ernest Flores, and brother in law, Rey Sanchez.

Survivors include his wife, Estella Morales Flores, children, Joel Flores and wife Cynthia, and April Garcia and husband Ralph; grandchildren, Jarred and Kaleb Flores, Michael Garcia, Reyna, Alexis, Xavier, Briana, Jada and Noah Garcia; siblings, Yolanda Guerrero and husband Tom, Maria Sanchez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Joe was a hard worker, he was employed at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in which he retired in December of 2014, after 21 years. He loved listening to Tejano music, while barbequing, doing yardwork and washing his cars on the weekends. He was also a huge fan of the Dallas cowboys. He loved his little Chihuahua, "Chicana," and they could be seen, sitting out in the yard, always together.

Joe will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (services will conclude in the chapel).
