Josephine Avalos

Josephine "Josie" G. Avalos, of Seguin, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the age of 82. She was born in Kenedy, Texas on September 1, 1934.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lydia Sandoval Valenzuela, grandparents, Jose and Maria Sandoval first husband, Rosendo Rodriguez, second husband, Cresencio "Cracke" Avalos, and one great grandson, Julien Layne Rodriguez.

Survivors include her son, Rolando R. Rodriguez, sister, Maria Sandoval Soliz, grandchildren, Christy M. Sepulveda, Jeremy D. Rodriguez, Crystal D. Rodriguez, Rolando R. Rodriguez; 14 great grandchildren, as well as her friend and companion Ynez Flores.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., services will conclude in the chapel.
