Joshua Castilleja

Joshua Castilleja, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 22. He was born to Ladislado Castilleja III and Beatrice Garcia Crosby in Seguin, Texas on October 15, 1994.

Joshua was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He had an affection for animals and it showed in his job as a groomer and his love for his pit bull, "Mamas." Known as a talented electric guitar player, he was also in a band, his love for music may have drawn the crowd but, his character is what really made you love him. Joshua was an amazing person inside and out. He will be remembered for his great smile, laugh, being happy-go-lucky, kind-hearted and unselfish ways. May his beautiful soul Rest in Peace.

Joshua leaves behind his mother, Beatrice Crosby and husband Thomas; father, Ladislado Castilleja III and wife Claudia; siblings, Desiree, Destinee, Ladislado IV and Julian; nephews, Ladislado V, Carlos Jr., and Abel; grandparents, Yolanda Garcia, Beto Jimenez, Dora Castilleja and Ladislado Castilleja Jr.; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Joshua's Life will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Troy Hernandez will officiate. Services will conclude in the chapel. A Reception will follow at the Big Red Barn (390 Cordova Rd, Seguin, TX 78155).
