Karen Ann Bergin

Karen Ann passed away peacefully with her brother, Ken, his wife, Gloria and bonus “niece”, Jennifer, by her side. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and strength left a lasting impact on the lives of those closest to her.

Karen is survived by her sons, Shawn Bergin and family, and Ryan Bergin and family; her brother, Ken Tedford, his wife Gloria, and their children; her childhood best friend Bernadette Tarrant and close friends Ruth Bailey and Jennifer Bailey.

For the past two decades, Karen made her home with Ruth and Jennifer Bailey, who were not only her caregivers but also her chosen family. To them, she was more than a friend—she was a bonus sister and aunt whose presence brought comfort, joy, and a sense of home. She became the beloved matriarch of their household, offering wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support.

Her final years were filled with laughter, music, and the comfort of being surrounded by those who adored her. She found peace in porch sitting, shared stories, and evenings spent watching her favorite western, Bonanza.

Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the love she shared and the many lives she touched.

A private ceremony will be held by the immediate family to honor her life.
