Leola Perry

Leola Love Perry of Seguin, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born to Leroy Love and Clara Viola Badgett Love on June 25, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas.

Leola is preceded in death by both of her parents; her ex-husband, Don Perry; her first cousin, Albert Hamilton Love, and cousin, David Lang.

She is survived by her step-children; her cousin, Barbara A. Lang and her daughters, Sharon Jones and husband Mike and Sandra Hughes and husband Eric; Bekah Lang and the late David's children; cousin, Janice Love Thivierge and husband Richard; cousin, Gary Love and his children, Nathan, Kevin and Shari and her husband Pablo; cousin, Terry Love and wife Debbie; cousin, Deborah Schmidt and husband John and son, Nolan; cousin, Richard Dale and wife Shelly and their children, Dawn, Dustin and Derrick along with a host of family and friends.

Leola worked for a part of her life with the USO and the Texas State Department. She was also a records keeper with her ex-husband Don's plumbing company. Later in life Leola enjoyed the pleasures of traveling. She and Don owned a sail boat and enjoyed taking it out on the water. She also had a passion for dancing and had a smile that could light up the room. She made friends everywhere she went and was ever so friendly and social. Leola will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Palmer Mortuary. Immediately concluding the funeral service family and friends are asked to meet at Elm Creek Community Cemetery located at 2123 Settlers Way, Seguin, Texas 78155.
