Lewis Moglia Jr.

The Almighty God called Lew Moglia home on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 87. Lew was born to Lewis and Margaret Moglia on October 16, 1930 in Newark, NJ. Lew is a Viet Nam veteran, retired from the USAF in 1971, and continued service with the Texas Department of Corrections and the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office.

Lew was a Life Member of the American Foreign Legion, a member of the Seguin Masonic Lodge, and the McQueeney Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Lew is survived by his sisters Beverly Maurer and Carole Aromando, son Steve Moglia and daughter Valerie Stewart, Granddaughters Summer Humphreys and husband Trent, Destiney Hein and husband Rich, Brandie Johnson and husband Jay, Grandsons Josh Moglia and Ryan Moglia and wife Jacque, Great Grandchildren Avery, Avory, Brooklin, Makenna, Matthew and Mati, and longtime friend and caregiver Suzann Trigo.

Services will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel, on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. The Interment will follow at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m., with Military Honors to be rendered.
