Marcos Elizondo

Marcos B. Elizondo was born on April 25, 1924 in Louise, Texas to Marcos and Gregoria Elizondo. Marcos went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 23, 2007 at the age of 83. Marcos died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family in Seguin, Texas.

Marcos was an Army Veteran who served in World War II and was a recipient of the Purple Heart and four Bronze Stars.

He is survived by his wife Maria Elizondo; daughters, Rachel Salazar Ramon, Consuelo Cordero Jose, Christina Levy David, Raquel Fangman Wesley; sons, Richard Elizondo Rosie, Sixto Elizondo Sabina and Marcos Elizondo III; 23 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandsons.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from 5:00 PM 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will take place at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 12 noon with interment to follow in Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery.

Marcos will be greatly missed.
