Maria Rodriguez

Maria Sanjuana Rigney Rodriguez, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 at the age of 81. She was born in Mexico on April 20, 1936 to Enos and Maria Trinidad Rodriguez.

Juana is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Maria de Jesus Mendoza Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez Alvarez, Maria Vazquez Rodriguez, Socorro Rodriguez Alvarez and Sergio Benigno Rodriguez Alvarez.

Survivors include Leroy Rigney, her husband of 56 years, her children, Carlos J. Rigney (Ildiko), Rosa M. Adame (Odin), Teresa Rigney-Lopez (Manuel), and Veronica Soria (Saul), her siblings Maria del Carmen Bravo Rodriguez and Luis Rodriguez Alvarez, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and dear family friend, Priscilla Garcia.

Juana will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Antonio Flores, his staff, and Nesbit LRC, for the years of care given to our beautiful mother.

Funeral Services were held under the direction of Palmer Mortuary on Nov. 6, 2017, followed by Holy Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe church and interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Nov. 7, 2017.
