Marta Castellanos

Marta Elena Castellanos, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 75. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on March 13, 1944 to Maria Christina Claudio.

Marta was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother with a tender and loving heart. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchild more than anything and would do anything for them. She was selfless and devoted to her family and she enjoyed watching daytime soap operas. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; brother, Hector Luis Torres; sister, Olga Iris Torres.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Edmundo Castellanos; children, Hector Luis Castellanos and partner Orlando De La Rosa, Liza Evette and George Lynn and Nitza Taylor; grandchildren, Hailey, Jacob, Zachary and Alia; and her only great grandchild, Skyler.


A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
