Maximina Zuniga

Maxine P. Zuniga, of Seguin, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the age of 74. She was born in San Marcos, Texas on June 8, 1944 to Isidora (Espinosa) and Bibiano Pastrano.
She is preceded in death by her husband: David G. Zuniga and her parents.

Survivors include her children: James Zuniga (Cindy), Adam Zuniga, Martin Zuniga (Melissa), Gloria Zuniga (Juan Carlos); 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 10 siblings, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her best friend: Carlos Leal Gutierrez.

Maxine loved her family immensely and showed them by cooking for them, menudo and tamales. Holidays, especially birthdays, were important and she would celebrate those days greatly, with a huge spread of food. She was a huge Elvis fan, enjoyed playing Bingo and the Lottery.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The Rites of a Christian Burial will follow at the San Isidro Cemetery in Fentress, Texas.
