Nasario Amaro Sanchez Sr., age 93, of Seguin, Texas, peacefully passed away on April 9, 2026. He was born on March 25, 1933, and lived a long, full life surrounded by family.
Nasario was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Matilda Sanchez, who passed away in 2022; his sons, Nasario A. Sanchez Jr. and Rudy Sanchez Sr., both of whom passed in 2006; his parents, Juanita and Feliciano Sanchez; his brothers, Senovio, Antonio, Ruben, Gregorio, Jesse, José, Felix, and Santos; and his sisters, Chepa and Lala.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother Lucio, his children: Joe Sanchez and wife Dolly of Midwest City, OK; Irene Guerra and husband Tony of Seguin, TX; Emma Green and husband Christopher of Midwest City, OK; and Diane Sanchez of Seguin, TX.
He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Nasario was a quiet and steady man who found happiness in the simple things in life. He enjoyed watching wrestling, spending time with friends, and being surrounded by his family. After many dedicated years working at SMI, he embraced retirement and the opportunity to slow down and enjoy life.
Nasario will be remembered for his strength, his devotion to family, and the quiet example he set throughout his life. We take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and reunited with his loved ones.
The Sanchez family appreciates all thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
Special thank you to Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Seguin and their staff for taking such great care of our beloved Nasario.
Special thank you to Palmer Mortuary.
