Pauline Rios

Pauline Salazar Rios, a long-time resident of Seguin, TX, went to be with the Lord at 10:15 p.m., on Saturday, August 29, 2015; she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 7, 1928 in Zorn, TX to Ramon Sr., and Enriqueta Salazar.

Pauline attended school through the 6th grade at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School. She united in marriage to Lupe Rios and they remained together for 27 years, until his passing on October 13, 1983. She worked at Breill Rodgers Cotton Goods for several years, before becoming a full time home maker and mother to her only son. She was a member of Bethlehem Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother.

Survivors include her son Daniel Guadalupe Rios, sister Virginia Salazar, brothers, Rudolfo Salazar, Ramon Salazar Jr., and wife Rachel and Enrique Salazar; grandchildren, Jeremiah Daniel Rios and Savannah Nicole Rios.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Chapel Service to begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.

Active Pall Bearers will be Jeremiah Rios, Savannah Rios, Rudy Salazar Jr., Chris Arriaga, Gabriel Salazar and Tristan Erben.
