Pedro Cardenas

Pedro D. Cardenas, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the age of 60. He was born in Nixon, Texas on December 13, 1955 to Angelita (De Leon) and Carlos Cardenas.

Pedro was a hard-working man, he worked in shipping and receiving for 10 years for Kalmar. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing scratch off tickets, BINGO, fishing and working on cars. He loved his family, spending time with them, Bar B Que'ing and drinking. Pedro will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his children, Larry and Christy Olivarez, Becky Cardenas, Kathy and Juan Gonzalez, Patty Cardenas, P. J. and Dejavue Cardenas, Benina Olivarez, and Marc Olivarez; and grandchildren, Brittany, Nathan, Briana, LJ, Corina, Daniel, JB, Dennise, Miranda, Angel, Alainna, Albert, J'Kory, Angelita, Ebony, Pierre, Carol and Victoria.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic
Church on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.

Pedro's family would like to thank Dr. Tenner (CTRC Center) for his care, his nurse Nia Rios, RN (Alamo Hospice), and his Kalmar (Kalmar RT Center) friends, that became family.
