Pedro Martinez

Pedro "Pete" Martinez, of Seguin, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the age of 75. He was born in Seguin, Texas on August 25, 1939 to Cruz Martinez and Marta Vigil.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Roberto Martinez.

Survivors include his sisters, Leonora M. Saenz and Thomasa Avila; daughters, MaryAnn and Eva; and brother Juan Francisco Martinez.

Pete played the accordion for over 60 years. He had a passion for teaching others, especially the younger generation, how to play. He befriended Nikki, a student, whom he held dear to his heart. Pete, will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
