Sara Ramirez

Sara Ibarra Ramirez of Seguin passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the age of 77. She was born on February 17, 1942 to Ramon and Sara Ibarra in Muzquiz Coahuila, Mexico and was raised in Monterrey, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband Rey Ramirez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, J. Raymond and wife Rosie Salas, Claudio O. and wife Guadalupe, Brenda G. Ramon and husband Rogelio Garcia and Edgar T. Salas; grandchildren, Melissa, Jesse, Daniel, Krystle, Adriana, Gladis, Francisco Jr., Samantha, Alejandro, Dolores and Jaedynne; great grandchildren, Emilie, Jena, Madyson, Dylan, Kane, Nova, Karly, Jessica, Alyssa, Sabrina, Francisco III, Israel, Isidro Jr., Serenity, Joe Anthony, Joe Daniel, Avelyn, Milagros, Sebastian, Savannah and Bryan; brothers, Ramon Ibarra, Sostenes Ibarra, Catarino Ibarra, Pablo Ibarra, Manuel Ibarra, Guadalupe Ibarra, Jose Luis Ibarra and Andres Ibarra.
Sara was a strong independent single mother that was known as both mom and dad for her four children. She worked nights so she could have time with her kids during the day. Even though she was a single mother, she always managed to take her children to visit their grandmother, uncles and cousins in Mexico every holiday and as often as she could. She was very loved and adored by all of her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
